I’m beyond honored for the recognition given to my book ‘Inheriting Karma’ by the fine people at Literary Titan.
Although it is a monthly award given to more than one Gold or Silver participant, it’s still an awesome feeling knowing my Karma World has made a connection.
Opening the congratulations email stunned me into temporary blindness. Originally, I hoped for a truthful editorial from someone who got my unique storytelling. I got a five-star review that nailed my distinct style. The review confirmed that my writing is not for everyone and that I may be the only author fitting into the odd but experimental genre.
But I digress by sharing the days since my sight returned to normal. Some will say its a minor award, meaning little. Or I bet Mark’s head is so swollen. Well;
- I folded for a meal of ramen noodles, unflavored by the way
- Taken my afternoon naps a little later than usual
- Stubbed my toe, taking my knee out at the same time
- Had to share my pizza crust with the dog, Louie
- Lost a millimeter of body fat
- I’ve continued to tell white lies every morning, saying my coffee tastes great.
- And will put my fantasy team ahead of the Broncos when I cheer for a few Chiefs players (a team I’ve hated since the eighties)
So, for a guy who released ‘Challenging Karma’ to keep a promise, my expectations were; if one person read it I succeeded. An award of any kind is a crest that would have my heavenly mother say, ‘I knew it’ Again, thank you, Literary Titan.
